Our History

Founded in June 1990, Jnana Bharathi School initially began as a primary school in a rented building in Kalyandurg Town. In 1995, the school moved to its own campus near Dodagatta village, and gradually expanded to include a secondary school. Over time, the school earned recognition from the Department of Education and has been a pillar of learning in the region. Today, it continues to provide quality education to students from various backgrounds, with a particular focus on promoting education among rural communities.

Awards & Recognition

Jnana Bharathi School has consistently been recognized for its academic and extracurricular excellence. In 2012, the school was honored by the District Social Welfare and District Tribal Welfare Offices, Anantapur, as the best school in Kalyandurg. This accolade was a result of our exceptional contributions to education, particularly in supporting students from scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities. We were also selected by the Rural Development Trust (RDT) to provide education to orphaned and semi-orphaned children, reflecting the school’s strong reputation in Anantapur district.
